Braga International Competition for Chamber Music with Guitar

The creation of a chamber music competition, with formations that include at least one guitar, arises from the realization of the disparity between the importance of chamber music practice in the artistic and professional activity of the guitarists and the scarce supply of international competitions in this field, having an absolutely pioneering character in Portugal.

This contest is held every two years in alternation with the International Classical Guitar Competition of Braga, constituting itself as a strong programmatic element of Braga Guitar Festival.
